Walnut Creek Christian Academy Kindergartners rode Amtrak from Martinez to Jack London Square on December 8th, 2009. The Kindergartners attended an exciting class at Barnes and Noble taught by award winning and well-known children’s author and illustrator, Bob Barner. Bob read some of his stories, explained how he comes up with his ideas, demonstrated his illustration techniques, and autographed books for the students, all while holding the captive attention of 50 kindergartners! The class was an amazing writing and illustrating inspiration for all of the Kindergartners (and the parents as well!).
