Matt Roloff is an actor, author, farmer, and businessman, best known for participating in the reality program 'Little People, Big World,' on TLC. He attended WCCA for third grade and shared this reflection with us:
"With fondness I remember my days with you there in Walnut Creek, California. The whole staff there gave me love and encouragement that helped build a solid foundation. Miss Dishman also orchestrated a speech contest each year and pushed us all to get involved. I believe that experience has helped me in my career as a motivational speaker. I began as a programmer in the computer field then moved on to an international consultant and representative.
The most memorial speech that always pleased a crowd was ‘Scratch, the News Boy's Dog’ by Leota Hulse Black. Since I was short it brought a visual to the dramatic reading unlike any other. I found, with Miss Dishman’s encouragement, that could bring a tear to most anyone’s eye.
Amy, my wife, and I made the decision to have our four children attend a good Christian school partially due to my attendance there at WCCA. God bless you all as you continue in life’s pathway."
