One of the assurances offered to WCCA families is that all employees profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as their Savior. Students at WCCA are surrounded by caring, Christian adults who seek to model a Christ-like attitude in every way.
- Our principal, Kristi McComas, graduated from Biola University with a Master's Degree in Education and has received ACSI's Lifetime Professional Principal Certificate. She joined the WCCA family in 2015 with over 20 years experience in Christian education and part of her administrative background includes working with both ACSI and WASC for school accreditation and with the state of California's BTSA program, helping to mentor new teachers.
- Our vice principal and junior high department chair, Damon Duncan, graduated from CSU Hayward with a bachelor’s degree in history; he has also received ACSI’s Middle School Teaching Certificate. Mr. Duncan has now been with The Academy since 2003 and still enjoys teaching some of our junior high classes. Mr. Duncan is an alumnus of WCCA, as are his two oldest, and his two younger children are current students at The Academy.
- Our Elementary department chair, Nunu Campbell, first attended college in Ethiopia and then finished her degree at Shasta Bible College; she has also received ACSI’s Elementary Teaching Certificate. Mrs. Campbell comes from a family of educators, has been with The Academy since 2005, and all three of her sons have graduated from WCCA.
